Nate founded Pointguard Financial in 2012, and his primary focus is acting as an Outsourced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for privately held businesses. He nurtured his passion for innovative solutions during a 21 year career with a regional/national public accounting firm, where he was an Audit and Tax Partner for 9 years, and creator of the Outsourced CFO practice.

Nate’s experience includes working with start-ups to mature companies; developing plans for successful financial performance and turnaround situations; providing negotiation assistance for buyers and sellers of businesses; acting as liaison with banks and investors; and developing leadership expertise. Nate is also a frequent speaker on business performance related topics.

Nate earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Accounting from Eastern Washington University.  He is a committed Christian father and husband, and enjoys spending time with his family and grandchildren, and studying business related topics.
